Biography of Sr van der Merwe

Sr Zhavandre van der Merwe is the owner and director of 4Wounds wound care practice. Zhavandre is currently a PhD candidate at Murdoch University, Perth Australia, and hold a master’s degree in wound healing and tissue repair from the University of Cardiff UK Wales School of Medicine. Zhavandre has 10 years advanced wound care experience, her strong clinical background combined with continuous research experience allows her to successfully integrate evidence-based theory into clinical practice, providing novel and holistic ways to treat and heal patients who require advanced wound care. The clinical setting of 4Wounds wound care clinic does not only provide a safe and relaxed environment for wound management but also gives the patient access to a larger multi-disciplinary team, allowing for fast, accurate and affective holistic management of the patient.
